Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff Participates in G-5 Sahel Chiefs of Staff Meeting

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armies, Major General Mokhtar Belle Chaabane, participated, Wednesday via videoconference, in a meeting of the Chiefs of Staff of G-5 Sahel member states.

The meeting, which was attended by the Chief of Staff of the French armies, aims to discuss various aspects relating to military and security in the G-5 Sahel space.

The meeting, which also discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Sahel countries in these two areas, was attended by the head of the 1st office at the General Staff, Colonel Ishagh Ould Abdallahi.
