Minister of National Defense Leaves for Ndjamena

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, left Nouakchott, on Friday, for the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, to take part in the meeting of the G-5 Sahel defense ministers, due to be held tomorrow following the meeting of expert chiefs of staff of the G5 Sahel armed forces.

It should be noted that the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, had handed over the rotating Presidency of the G-5 Sahel to the President of Chad, Mr. Idriss Deby Itno during the Heads of State summit held in Ndjamena on 15 February.
