Minister of Economic Affairs Meets With Japanese Vice Minister of Economy

On 17 January, in Tokyo, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, met with Mr. Nagamin Makoto, the Japanese Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry.

The talks focused on ways to strengthen economic cooperation relations between Mauritania and Japan.

During the meeting, Mr. Kane called on Japan to support our country in its position to obtain financing on concessional terms and raise awareness of the Japanese private sector about the great investment potential available in Mauritania.
