On 16 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received HE Mr. Alexandre Garcia, the Ambassador of the French Republic to Mauritania.

The meeting reviewed the excellent relations between the two countries, ways of enhancing them to serve common interests, and issues of common interest.
