On 3 January, the Minister of Livestock, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdellahi Ould Ethmane, returned to Nouakchott from Dakar, where he took part in the 8th edition of National Livestock Day. This event was celebrated in 2022 in Tabacounda under the theme: “Modernization and intensification of livestock systems for competitive animal value chains and food sovereignty.”
During his presence in Senegal, the Minister met with his counterparts from Senegal, Mali, and Guinea Bissau. He also visited the Higher Institute of Sciences and Veterinary Medicine and met with experts from the Senegalese Ministry of Livestock to learn about their experiences.
