President of Republic Congratulates Haitian Counterpart

On 31 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, sent the following congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Ariel Henry, the acting President of the Republic of Haiti, on the occasion of his country’s celebration of its National Day:

“Your Excellency,

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Haiti, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, wishing the friendly Haitian people further progress and prosperity.

I would also like to renew to Your Excellency our eagerness to continue efforts to strengthen and develop the existing cooperative relations between our two countries to serve the interests of our two friendly people.
