On 26 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received a telephone call from his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the sisterly State of the United Arab Emirates.

During the telephone call, the two Presidents discussed the deep bilateral relations  between the two brotherly countries and the means to strengthen them in the common interest.

The discussions also focused on the international situation, addressing particularly issues of common interest for the two brotherly countries and exchanging views in this regard.
