On 26 December, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, held a working session with a delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) led by HE Mr. Ambassador Youssef Dbeyi, the Undersecretary General for Political Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various areas of cooperation between Mauritania and OIC and the ongoing preparations for Mauritania to host the meeting of the organization’s foreign ministers and the celebration of Nouakchott Capital of Islamic Culture for the year 2023.
