Minister of Social Action Meets With OIC Mission

On 20 December, in Nouakchott, Ms. Saviya Mint N’Tahah, the Minister of Social Action, Children, and Family, met with a mission from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), including Mr. Tarick Bakhit, the Deputy Secretary General for Humanitarian, Cultural, and Social Affairs, and Mr. Youssouf Khalawi, the Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.
During the meeting, the two parties reviewed ways and means to strengthen cooperation between Mauritania and the OIC.
The OIC delegation highly appreciated the largely positive assessment of Mauritania’s commitment to joint Islamic action.
