President of Republic Leaves for Washington

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani left Nouakchott for Washington to participate in the work of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit.

The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the République, the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Nouakchott Regional Council.

The following delegation accompanies the President of the Republic during this trip:

-Ms. Mariem Mint Dah, the First Lady

-Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad
– Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors
– Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Petroleum, Energy, and Mines,
– Ms. Lalya Kamara, the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development
