President of Republic Leaves for Niamey

The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott for Niamey to attend the African Union (AU) Extraordinary Summit on Industrialization and Economic Diversification and AU Extraordinary Session on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The President of the Republic was seen off at Nouakchott “Oumtousy” International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Bilal Massoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministers of Justice and National Defense, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.

During this trip, the president of the republic is accompanied by the following delegation:

– Ms. Mariem Mint Dah, First Lady,
– Ms. Coumba Ba, a minister counselor at the Presidency of the Republic,
– Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet to the President of the Republic,
– Kane Ousmane, Minister of Economic Affairs,
-Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed, the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and Territorial Development,
– Mr. Lemrabott Ould Benahi, the Minister of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts, and Tourism,
– Ms. Khadija Embark Fall, Mauritanian ambassador to Addis Ababa,
– Sidati Ould Ahmed Aicha, Mauritanian Ambassador to Niger,
Ahmed Ould Bahini, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic,
– El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
