Oil Minister Signs MoU With French Technip Energies

On the sidelines of the 6th edition of the Mauritanides Conference on Mines and Energy, which opened on 22 November at the El Mourabitoune International Conference Center in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdel Salam Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the French “Technip Energies” company, specializing in the preparation of engineering projects.
This MoU aims to define the areas of cooperation, particularly the training of the Mauritanian human resources, engineers, and technicians through the training and organization of workshops for conducting engineering studies.
It is noteworthy that the 2023 plan of this MoU provides for the realization of some joint studies and training for a group of Mauritanian executives.
