Sharm El Sheikh: President of Republic Attends Launch of International Alliance for Resilience in Face of Drought in Sahel

On 7 November, in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, attended the launch of the International Alliance for Resilience in the Face of Drought in the Sahel launched during COP27.
Created on the initiative of the Senegalese President, His Excellency Macky Sall, and Mr. Pedro Sánchez, the President of the Government of Spain, this alliance was conceived as a tool at the disposal of the United Nations to help affected countries to better prepare for future droughts.
