Minister of Livestock Meets With Spanish Ambassador

On 21 October, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Livestock, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, received HE Ms. Myriam Alvares Delarosa Rodriguez, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Mauritania, with Ms. Rita Santos Suarez, the General Coordinator of the Spanish Office for Technical Cooperation in Mauritania.

During the meeting, the Minister briefed the Spanish diplomat on the importance of the department in government policy and the program of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic (Taahoudaty), which aims to modernize the sector, promote livestock, and create added value for it.
In turn, Ms. Rodriguez expressed her readiness to strengthen cooperation in joint projects in the livestock field, particularly concerning animal health, production, and the exchange of experiences.
