Minister of Justice Receives AfCHPR’s Delegation

On 16 August, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdullah Ben Boya, received a delegation from the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR), visiting our country for a few days, led by Imani D. Aboud, the President of the Court.

The meeting focused on the various aspects of cooperation between our country and this African judicial institution, in addition to issues of common interest.

The President of the Court took this opportunity to praise the reforms carried out by our country in the field of the promotion of human rights, including citizens’ access to court services.
