Mauritania Strongly Condemns Suicide Attack in Saudi Arabia

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has strongly condemned the suicide attack that took place in the city of Jeddah in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released on 14 August by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mauritania expressed its full support for the efforts made by the Saudi authorities in the face of security threats.

The statement reads as follows:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad strongly condemns the suicide attack that took place on 10 August 2022 in the city of Jeddah, in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry commends the great efficiency of the Saudi security forces in thwarting this cowardly act, imploring Allah, the Almighty, to grant speedy recovery to the injured.

The Ministry reiterates its full support for all the Saudi authorities’ efforts to deal with security threats and the measures taken to preserve the stability of their country and ensure its safety and the safety of its citizens and foreigners living there.”
