President of Republic Launches Special program to Support Employment, Training, Professional integration

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, supervised Thursday, at Conference Palace in Nouakchott, the launch of a special program to support employment, training, and professional integration.

At the beginning of this event, the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Mr. Taleb Ould Sid Ahmed, gave a presentation on the different areas of the program and the mechanisms adopted in the creation of job opportunities and the methodology of the activation of vocational training.
He said that the themes of this program include creating jobs through recruitments in various government sectors, job opportunities, launching investment projects, and promoting vocational training.

The minister reviewed the employment outcome over the past two years, declaring that 48718 permanent jobs were created, while 110163 non-permanent jobs and 57450 self-employment jobs were also recorded.

Afterward, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, visited an exhibition on the government’s employment programs.

This exhibition highlights the various areas of intervention of these projects and the achievements made in the field of job creation and financing of development projects..
