Foreign Affairs Minister Meets his Romanian Counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, held a meeting on Monday on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting between the African Union and the European Union currently being held in the Rwandan capital (Kigali), with Mr. Bogdan Lucian Aurescu, Foreign Minister of Romania.

During their meeting, the two ministers discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and stressed that they have moved forward in promoting and developing such cooperation in all fields, especially economic cooperation, civil protection, education and everything that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.

The meeting was attended alongside the Minister, Ms. Khadija M’Barek Vall, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of our country to the African Union, and Ms. Fatou Gharbi; Ambassador, Director of the Maghreb and the European Union the Mediterranean Partnership at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
