President of Republic Extends Condolences to King of Norway on Passing of King Harald V

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, extended his sincere condolences and expressed his deep sympathy to His Majesty the King of Norway, the Royal Family, the government, and the friendly Norwegian people, following the passing of King Harald V.

In a message published on Sunday on his X account, His Excellency wrote:

“I learned with great sadness of the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway.

On this painful occasion, I extend my sincere condolences and deep sympathy to His Majesty King Haakon VIII, the Royal Family, the government, and the friendly Norwegian people.

I also wish His Majesty King Haakon VIII of Norway full success in the fulfillment of his high duties, and to the friendly Norwegian people further prosperity and development, as well as the strengthening of the relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries.”
