Foreign Minister Meets Algerian counterpart

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, met today, Thursday, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with His Excellency the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Ahmed Attaf.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, focused on the fraternal relations existing between Mauritania and Algeria, as well as ways to strengthen and develop cooperation, in addition to discussing several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
