President of Republic Congratulates Congolese Counterpart

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a congratulatory message on Saturday to His Excellency Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of the Congo, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The text of the message is as follows:

Mr. President and Dear Brother,

The celebration of your country’s National Day offers me the pleasant opportunity to extend to you my warmest congratulations and best wishes for progress and prosperity for the brotherly Congolese people.

I take this opportunity to assure you of our firm determination to work toward developing cooperative relations between our two countries and strengthening the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that unite our two brotherly peoples.
