Foreign Minister Receives Egyptian Ambassador

Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received Egypt’s Ambassador to Mauritania, Ahmed Mohamed Abdelhamid Tayea, in Nouakchott on Monday.

The meeting focused on various aspects of bilateral cooperation and relations between Mauritania and Egypt, as well as ways to strengthen and further develop ties in the interests of the two countries and their brotherly people.

The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
