Mauritania Reaffirms Full Solidarity with Saudi Arabia Following Attacks on Oil Facilities

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has strongly condemned the attacks targeting oil facilities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using drones launched from Iraqi territory.
This position was expressed in a statement released on July 29 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad. The statement reads as follows:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, expresses its firm condemnation of the attacks that targeted the oil facilities of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using drones launched from Iraqi territory.
The Mauritanian Government reaffirms its full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for its right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as to protect its vital infrastructure.”
