Mauritania, Saudi Adahi Project Explore Stronger Livestock Cooperation

On July 9 in Nouakchott, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed, Mauritania’s Minister of Livestock, received a delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Adahi Project for Sacrificial Animals, headed by the project’s Vice President, Siraj Mohamed Al-Feilali, to discuss expanding cooperation in the livestock sector.

The meeting focused on supporting the delegation’s current mission in Mauritania and identifying opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Livestock and the Saudi Adahi Project, particularly in livestock development and the sustainable use of Mauritania’s abundant animal resources.

Minister Ould Mohamed reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating the delegation’s visit, expressing confidence that it would open new avenues for cooperation and help maximize the value of the country’s livestock sector.

For their part, the Saudi delegation thanked the Minister, ministry officials, and the Mauritanian people for the warm reception and generous hospitality they received during their visit, underscoring their appreciation for the strong spirit of partnership between the two sides.
