Mauritanian Minister Delivers Presidential Message to São Tomé President

On July 2 in São Tomé,  President Carlos Manuel Vila Nova of São Tomé and Príncipe received Mr. Mokhtar El Housseinou Lam, Mauritanian Minister in Charge of the General Secretariat of the Government.

Following the meeting, Lam said he conveyed the greetings of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and delivered a presidential message, explaining the purpose of his visit. He described the talks as cordial and constructive.

According to the minister, President Vila Nova praised the strong ties between São Tomé and Príncipe and Mauritania and asked him to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani. The São Toméan leader also pledged to give due consideration to the message, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to deepening their longstanding friendship and expanding bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
