Fisheries Minister discusses Ways to strengthen Cooperation in Maritime Sector with Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Fisheries, Maritime Infrastructure and Ports, Mr Elmokhtar Ahmed Bousif, received this evening, Wednesday, at his office in Nouakchott, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Ms Fatoumata Gao, who is currently on a visit to our country.
The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation between Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau, and ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of fisheries and maritime and port infrastructure, thereby contributing to the expansion of areas of partnership and the realisation of the two countries’ mutual interests.
