President of Republic Congratulates Governor General of Canada

Today, Tuesday, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent the following message of congratulations to Her Excellency the Right Honourable Louise Arbour, Governor General of Canada, on the occasion of the celebration of her country’s National Day.

The message reads as follows:

“Excellency, Madame Governor General,

The celebration of your country’s National Day affords me the pleasant opportunity to extend to you my warm congratulations and to express my best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the friendly Canadian people.
