Mauritania is taking part in the 181st session of the Council of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations

Her Excellency Ambassador Khadija M’barak Fall, Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United Nations organisations in Rome, represented our country at the 181st session of the Council of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), held from 8 to 12 June 2026 at the organisation’s headquarters in the Italian capital, Rome.
The session’s agenda includes numerous important items and issues, against a backdrop of complex global circumstances that are casting a shadow over the state of global food security and exacerbating the challenges associated with it.
