Energy Minister holds Talks with Joint Delegation from World Bank and African Development Bank

The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr Mohamed Ould Khaled, held an extended meeting today, Monday, in Nouakchott with a joint delegation comprising representatives from the World Bank and the African Development Bank Group, dedicated to discussing cooperation in the energy sector and accelerating the development of projects currently under implementation.
At the start of the meeting, the Minister emphasised the government’s commitment to continuing reforms aimed at building a modern energy sector capable of attracting investment, noting the importance of the partnership with the two international financial institutions.
The two sides reviewed the progress made in implementing major projects currently underway and discussed the mobilisation of the necessary funding and investment.
