Defense Minister Heads to Kingdom of Morocco to Participate in Second Ministerial Conference on Peacekeeping in the Francophone World

On yesterday evening, the Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, departed the capital, Nouakchott, for the Kingdom of Morocco to participate in the Second Ministerial Conference on Peacekeeping in the Francophone World, which is being held in the capital, Rabat, today, Wednesday.

The conference, organized in collaboration between the United Nations and the International Organization of La Francophonie, aims to strengthen coordination and unify perspectives among Francophone countries regarding current challenges related to international peacekeeping operations.

The conference is attended by a number of ministers and senior officials, as well as representatives from the United Nations, the International Organization of La Francophonie, and regional organizations, in addition to a select group of civilian and military experts specializing in peacekeeping.
