President of the Republic congratulates Syrian Arab Republic President of the Transitional Period

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent the following cable of congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Sharaa, President of the Transitional period in Syria.

Your Excellency and dear brother.

On the occasion of your country’s celebration of its National Day, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations and my wish to the brotherly Syrian people of further progress and prosperity.

I also reiterate our keenness to continue our efforts to strengthen and develop the existing relations of cooperation between our two countries to serve the interests of our two brotherly peoples.
