President of Republic Begins State Visit to France

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, has begun a state visit to France at the invitation of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic.

The Head of State arrived on 14 April at Orly Airport in the capital, Paris, where he was welcomed at an official ceremony.

The Mauritanian community living in the French capital gave a warm welcome to the President of the Republic in front of his residence, as a sign of welcome for this visit to France.
