Launch of the Activities of a Private Female Taxi Company

A group of women announced Friday evening in Nouakchott, the launch of a private company to manage a group of taxis, which they baptized “The Rose ride Women’s Taxi” . These taxis, which will be driven by women, will begin to circulate in the three districts of Nouakchott.
It is for the women behind this project to contribute to the provision of public transport for families and women in particular.
The director of the company, Ms. Mina Mint Hamdi Ould Habib, explained that the company will launch today five taxis in the city of Nouakchott, noting that the company has devices to monitor and track the route of its cars. . She thanked the public authorities for their support and encouragement for this type of private initiative.
The launching ceremony of this company took place in the presence of Ms. Fatimetou Mint El Mouna, advisor to the Minister of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts and Tourism.
