President of Republic Holds Telephone Conversation With Senegalese Counterpart

During a telephone conversation, on 21 March, with His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, extended his warmest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing him excellent health and well-being, as well as further progress and prosperity for the brotherly people of Senegal.

This call also provided an opportunity for the two presidents to emphasize the strength of the exceptional and fraternal ties that unite their countries and to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening and developing those ties in all areas.

The two presidents also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, renewing their commitment to continuing consultation and coordination for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
