CCIAM President Receives Italian Ambassador

On March 11 in Nouakchott, Mr. Cheikh El Afia Ould Mohamed Khouna, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Mauritania (CCIAM), received H.E. Ms. Paola Maria Cristina Russo, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Mauritania.

The meeting explored key shared priorities, including enhancing ties between the CCIAM and Italian chambers of commerce.

The discussion focused on concrete strategies to boost trade and foster partnerships between the business sectors of both countries.

During the meeting, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture emphasized that Mauritania offers high-quality investment opportunities in terms of natural resources, strategic and secure location, and a favorable business climate, inviting Italian investors to enter the Mauritanian market to take advantage of the opportunities and benefits it offers.
