Foreign Minister Meets With Chadian Delegation

On March 10 in Nouakchott,  Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received a delegation from the Republic of Chad led by Mr. Mahmet Issa Zakaria, Deputy Secretary General of the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation is on a working visit to Mauritania.

The meeting discussed the fraternal and cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples.

The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of common interest, particularly those related to security and development challenges in the Sahel region.
