President of Republic Holds Telephone Conversation With King of Bahrain

On March 4, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, held a telephone conversation with His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, following the recent attacks on the Kingdom.

During the call, the President of the Republic expressed Mauritania’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing his condemnation of any act that undermines its security, stability, and sovereignty.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani also called for restraint, dialogue, and peaceful and diplomatic solutions to contain tensions, thereby contributing to strengthening security and stability in the region and sparing its peoples further escalation.
