The Food Security Commissioner, Mrs. Fatimetou mint Khattri, left the capital Nouakchott this Monday morning, heading to the city of Abidjan in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
During her visit to Côte d’Ivoire, the Commissioner will represent our country in high-level consultations organized in partnership between the World Food Programme and the African Risk Capacity Agency, starting from February 3, on addressing food-related risks in West Africa, seeking sustainable foundations to strengthen the resilience of African communities, and establishing an effective mechanism to address disaster-related risks that negatively affect the living conditions of the population.
