Minister in Charge of General Secretariat of Government Receives UNDP Representative

Today, Tuesday, the Minister in charge of the General Secretariat of the Government, Mr. Mokhtar El Housseinou Lam, received in his office the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mauritania, His Excellency Mr. Mansour Ndiaye.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review various aspects of the existing partnership between Mauritania and the UNDP, as one of the country’s primary development partners. The UNDP has contributed to the implementation of numerous development projects, particularly in the areas of health, education, justice, and digital transformation, as well as electricity and water infrastructure.

Both sides emphasized the importance of these interventions in supporting national development priorities, enhancing access to basic services, and improving the living conditions of the population.
