Islamic Sciences University organizes the Annual Study Day for New Students on the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate Programs.

The Faculty of Sharia at the Islamic Sciences University in Laayoune organized today, Thursday, a study day specifically for its new students to explain the philosophy and objectives of the education system adopted in our country, represented by the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate system (LMD).
The activities of this day, which the Faculty of Sharia has been organizing every academic year, include a scientific session addressing academic matters as well as the philosophy and objectives of the LMD system and its implementation at the Islamic Sciences University, through presentations on the common core curriculum, the Department of Jurisprudence and Fundamentals, the Department of Islamic Economy, and the Department of Private Law, in addition to a presentation about the external department given by university professors.
The activities of this day, which the College of Sharia has been organizing every academic year, include a scientific session that addresses academic affairs, the philosophy and objectives of the LMD system, and its implementation at the University of Islamic Sciences through presentations on the common core, the Department of Fiqh and Usul, the Department of Islamic Economics, and the Department of Private Law, in addition to a presentation on the external department delivered by university professors.
The Vice President of the University, Mr. Naama Moudi, praised the organization of this educational day, aimed at introducing the LMD system, which raises several issues due to its being a modern system that aligns with contemporary requirements and the labor market, and is considered an effective way to educate generations.
In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Mr. Ahmed Ould Naafi, praised the diligent efforts made by the state to advance higher education in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, through the work carried out by the sectors responsible for higher education at all levels.
He added that significant capabilities and huge resources are being invested to provide suitable conditions for education in a supportive learning environment, with qualified teachers and good curricula and educational courses that enable easy and smooth entry into the labor market.
