Minister of Economic Affairs receives Japanese ambassador in Nouakchott

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Mr. Abdullahi Souleymane Sheikh Sidiya, received His Excellency the Japanese Ambassador to Mauritania, Mr. Uchida Hiroyuki, at his office in Nouakchott on Thursday morning.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in the interests of both parties.

They also discussed prospects for cooperation that would contribute to our country’s economic and social development policies.

The meeting was attended by Economic Advisor Moustapha Sidi Mohamed, Acting Secretary General, and Director General of Finance and Economic Cooperation, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould El Nani.
