President of the Republic offers condolences to the Moroccan King for the victims of the floods

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent today, Tuesday, a condolence message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco, following the heavy rains and floods that struck his country and resulted in a number of casualties.
The text of the message is as follows:
His Majesty King Mohammed VI,
I received with deep sadness and grief the news of the tragedy that occurred in the city of Safi due to heavy rains and floods, resulting in a number of victims and injured.
On this sorrowful occasion, I convey to Your Majesty, and through you to the brotherly Moroccan people, my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy, asking Almighty God for a swift recovery for the injured, and to envelop the victims in His vast mercy, grant them eternal peace, and inspire their families with patience and solace.
Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
