The President of the Republic lays the foundation stone for the project to supply the city of Kiffa with drinking water from the river.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, laid the foundation stone, Sunday, in the town of “Toueymirt Ivellane,” south of Kiffa, for the project to supply the city of Kiffa with drinking water from the Senegal River.
During the foundation stone ceremony, His Excellency the President followed a presentation on the components of this project, its financial cost, the number of beneficiaries, the implementation period, and the procedures to be followed to execute it in accordance with the specifications set out in the commitment document, before laying the foundation stone himself and unveiling the commemorative plaque, marking the commencement of this important project.
