Prime Minister chairs the Meeting of the Ministerial Committee Responsible for Following up on the Implementation of Major Projects

The Prime Ministry building hosted, this Tuesday evening, the regular meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of major projects, chaired by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Daddah.

The meeting was dedicated to reviewing the progress of government projects during the month of November, where the presented technical reports highlighted a noticeable improvement in the pace of implementation.

The report on the urgent program for the development of Nouakchott indicated a completion rate of 73%, while the time consumed did not exceed 62%.

As for the urgent program for access to basic local development services, the completion rate has reached 12% compared to only 6% of the allocated time, reflecting a good start in its implementation.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Prime Minister emphasized the need to continue close monitoring and field supervision, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, aimed at completing all projects within the contractual timelines and ensuring their alignment with the obligations schedules to guarantee quality and compliance with the approved technical standards.
