Mauritania participates in the Executive Council meetings of ALECSO in Cairo

Nouakchott, December 3, 2025 (MNA) – The Secretary-General of the National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science and member of the Executive Council of ALECSO, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sidi Abdallah, today, Wednesday, participated in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, in the proceedings of the 124th ordinary session of the Executive Council of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
The session discussed a number of procedural and substantive items and reports related to the work of the organization, most notably following up on the implementation of the decisions of previous sessions, assessing the educational, cultural, and scientific conditions in Arab countries, the reports of specialized committees, in addition to proposals for developing the mechanisms of the Executive Council and the General Conference, discussing the Arab education plan, plans to support cultural and creative industries, and other topics on the agenda.
