President of the Republic receives a telephone call from the German Chancellor

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received a telephone call on Friday from Mr. Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The call focused on reviewing the excellent cooperative relations between the two friendly countries and exploring ways to strengthen and develop them in various areas of mutual interest.

A number of regional and international issues were also discussed, as well as ways to coordinate efforts to serve mutual interests.
