Economic Minister receives the Italian Ambassador

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdallahi Souleymane Cheikh Sidiya, received H.E. Laura Botta, Ambassador of the Italian Republic accredited to Mauritania, in audience at his office in Nouakchott on Friday.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them in the mutual interest of both parties. Prospects for cooperation were also discussed, with a view to supporting our country’s policies in the areas of economic and social development.
