Minister of Culture returns to Nouakchott

The Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesperson, Mr. El Houssein Ould Meddou, returned today, Friday, to Nouakchott after participating in the work of the 43rd session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which was held in the city of Samarkand, in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the General Conference, the Minister of Culture delivered a speech in which he reviewed the major transformations experienced by the culture, arts, and communication sector in Mauritania, the role of culture in strengthening peace, development, and coexistence, as well as Mauritania’s active contribution to the work of the international organization and its bodies.
