The national assembly announced that the first ordinary session of the parliamentary year 2025-2026 will open on Wednesday, October 1st at 5 Pm.This was stated in a statement issued by the assembly today, Monday, of which the Mauritanian news agency received a copy; here is the text:
The President of the National Assembly, after reviewing Article 52 (new) of the Constitution and Articles 54 and 55 of the internal regulations of the National Assembly, invites the esteemed members of parliament to attend the general session dedicated to the opening of the first regular session of the parliamentary year 2025-2026, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 5 Pm.
