President of the Republic meets with Representatives of our Community in Qatar.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met today evening, Sunday, as part of his visit to the brotherly State of Qatar to participate in the emergency Arab Islamic summit, with representatives of our community residing in Doha.

During the meeting, His Excellency the President expressed his happiness in meeting with members of the community, praising their outstanding role abroad and the professional successes, academic paths, and international experiences they have achieved, which have made them a commendable model for their homeland. The President provided an overview of the current situation in the country, outlining the reforms and gains that have been made in various fields, and strengthening state institutions, while also highlighting the extent of the regional and international challenges facing the country, and the public authorities’ commitment to addressing these challenges with stability and effectiveness, through comprehensive national approaches and development programs.

During the meeting, the President listened to the remarks of several community representatives, who expressed their pride in their homeland and their eagerness to contribute to its developmental journey. They also presented a number of concerns and suggestions related to the conditions of the community and its role in serving the country.

The President urged members of the community to continue their connection with their homeland and to contribute their expertise and investments in the national building process, asserting that the state is committed to improving the conditions of communities abroad and enhancing communication with them, reminding that the upcoming National Forum for Communities will establish a framework for their contributions.

During the meeting, His Excellency the President listened to the contributions of several representatives of the community, who expressed their pride in the homeland and their desire to contribute to its development path. They also presented a number of concerns and suggestions related to the community’s situation and its role in serving the country. His Excellency the President called upon the members of the community to continue their connection with their homeland and to contribute their expertise and investments in the national construction process, emphasizing that the state is moving forward in improving the conditions of expatriate communities and enhancing communication with them. He reminded that the upcoming national forum for communities to be organized will form an institutional framework for their contributions to economic, scientific, and cultural development.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the President reiterated his pride in the significant role played by the community in Qatar, thanking the State of Qatar for the care and dignified living conditions it provides for them.
